We conduct all of our energy operations in the United States through our subsidiary
Alon USA Energy Inc. (NYSE:ALJ). Alon USA is an independent, physically integrated, refiner and marketer of petroleum products operating primarily in the South Central, Southwestern and Western regions of the United States. Alon USA owns four sour and heavy crude oil refineries that are located in Texas, California and Oregon. Alon USA also markets quality fuel products in South central, southwestern and western United States through a network of approximately 1,100 locations under the FINA brand name, which includes its 308 owned or leased 7-Eleven branded convenience stores located in Texas and New Mexico.
Among refiners in the USA located west of the Mississippi River, Alon USA has the second largest asphalt production capacity.
