Dor Alon Energy
Dor Alon is one of the four largest fuel companies in Israel. Dor Alon supplies motor fuels and other petroleum products through a network of over 170 public retail outlets operating under the “Dor Alon brand. Dor Alon operates a major part of its retail outlets, including 91 c-stores branded “Alonit” and “Super Alonit”. Integrated into part of Dor Alon’s retail outlets are diesel fueling centers, or DFCs, that sell diesel fuel for large vehicles such as trucks and buses. Dor Alon also markets fuel through internal gas stations located primarily on kibbutzim and moshavim (cooperative settlements).
In addition, Dor Alon supplies petroleum products, including liquefied petroleum gas, or LPG, directly to commercial, residential and governmental customers and supplies jet fuel to civilian airlines in cooperation with a subsidiary of Chevron Corporation. Dor Alon is currently the only supplier of the leading ARAL and Texaco lubricant brands in Israel.
Dor Gas, part of the Dor Alon group, is the principal marketer in Israel of gas for the industrial and institutional market, while serving faithfully more than 100,000 private consumers through branches and distributors located throughout Israel.
Dor Alon has an agreement with the Palestinian Authority for supplying fuel and gas to the Gaza Strip.
As part of its growth strategy, in January 2007, Dor Alon acquired AM PM Ltd., a leading convenience store chain in the Tel Aviv metropolitan area, with the intention to rapidly expand this non-fuel retail activity.
